I’ve been using Snoremeds anti-snoring mouth piece for several years now. I buy the womens multipack to save money and I typically replace my mouthpiece 3-4x/year. I wear it every night. I even wear it when traveling even if no one else is sharing a room with me. I feel I get a more restful nights sleep if I don’t snore. I also recently purchased a wedge pillow after hearing how it helped my daughters husband reduce his snoring. I now use the wedge pillow and the Snoremeds mouth piece to get a comfortable, snoreless night’s rest. Happy Sleeping!
I bought this device after using PureSleep's mouthpiece which was too big for my mouth and caused me to wake up with a sever dry mouth each morning even though it worked. This device (women's size) fits much better but the plastic did not soften as much and mold as well around my teeth so it can shift and allow my bottom jaw to move back causing me to snore. I will keep using it and maybe I can get a better fit in a few months when I replace it with a new one. It does reduce snoring.
Read instructions because I did mess up my first one trying to mold. I'm a man at 5' 8" with a small jaw so I use the the one they say is for women. It takes a little getting used to and a little hot water to put back in shape each day. Moving lower jaw forward should be very slight. But people (wife, people I roomed with on trips) tell me my snoring is either non existent or very brief and slight. So I'm going to believe them and continue to use this. Yes I was told I snored terrible before and occasionally I did wake myself.
These actually work! I will say that overtime they somehow wear out and lose their effectiveness. However, for the cost, I don’t mind replacing them every several months.
I've tried other mouthpieces, some helped with the snoring and sleep apnea, some didn't. All had one huge flaw, in my view - impossible to clean nooks and crannies. Some even had tiny parts that fell out. This mouthpiece is reasonably priced, easy to fit, simple design, and - most important - it WORKS.
